About this Site...

It has been almost six years since we were introduced to the Havanese breed. With the addition of Trooper to our family in March of 2004, I became active in the Lonestar Havanese Club. In 2005 we became members of the Havanese Club of America. Trooper has all his health testing completed and has his CHIC - 4 Star. We also have our first finished champion from our kennel - HavDiss Incomparable!

Carmela is an AKC Champion. We'll be working on daughter, Alice's championship in 2010! Dizzy is our AKC Champion female - now spayed. Trooper is our AKC Champion male and Zorro is Sara's neutered male.

About the Havanese Breed

Havanese are a fabulous breed. They are loving companions, they don't shed, and are small enough to fit into any lifestyle; however, don't get in such a hurry that you make impetuous decisions about where to get one. As in any breed, we have our health issues and the coat, although lovely, can be time-consuming to maintain. In addition, there are breeders out there who do not health test. FYI, you can expect to pay between $1800 and $2500 for a well-bred, health-tested Havanese.
